DIY : ZIOBAFFA CORK BAR END PLUGS

AN IDEA BY // JACOPO BANCALE

Need some bar end plugs? This DIY solution adds vintage flair to your drop bars and is a great way to up-cycle ZIOBAFFA corks!

While sipping ZIOBAFFA red out in the garden with sun pampering I got the idea that I was looking to finish my custom fixed bike. An original touch that makes bike even more beautiful!

Simply whittle the cork down with a penknife until it fits snugly in the bar end. Too small for your bar? no problem...add one or more turns of tape around cork just to create the appropriate thickness.

Congrats, now you have successfully put the ‘bar’ back in handlebar

Cheers Buds ---- Jacopo!!

ZIOBAFFA CORK PLANTERS

By Karissa Otero from "The Succulent Queen"

These cork planters are super sweet. They are easy to make and make awesome fridge magnets. We also think they’d make for great upcycled gifts. Got a wine or plant lover on your list? We’ve got you covered.

Step by step guide to make a special memento from ZIOBAFFA wine cork in the form of a succulent cork planter!

STEP 1

Use a screwdriver and a pair of utility scissors to make a hole in the top of the cork. Make sure it's deep enough to hold the succulent you have chosen to place inside.

STEP 2

With a glue gun, glue a magnet to what you would like to be the back of the cork.

STEP 3

Add soil. (For succulents I use a cactus soil)

STEP 4

Add your succulent piece or pieces! 🌵

STEP 5

Hang and enjoy! Water with a spray bottle once a week 😊
